Asuris Northwest Health National Network provider partner is now PHCS/MultiPlan; new member cards issued
Our current National Network provider partner, Beech Street, has been acquired by PHCS/MultiPlan. As a result, we're migrating our members to PHCS/MultiPlan immediately.
Each Asuris member (excluding Medicare) will receive a new member card that displays the PHCS/Multiplan logo on the back of the card, along with this flyer explaining why they're receiving a new member card. Cards were all printed and mailed by Jan. 2.
We've updated the provider directory on asuris.com and myAsuris.com. Links on these sites will take users to www.multiplan.com. Users should follow the instructions on the flyer enclosed with their new card to find providers.
Members can access providers in the PHCS Healthy Directions network or the Multiplan network. While these networks are extensive, there may be a small number of providers that are not part the new networks. We have a continuity-of-care provision that will allow members who are currently in treatment to continue to see those providers as in-network.
The PHCS Healthy Directions and Multiplan networks offer members additional provider choices when they seek care outside the local Asuris service area. When members are outside Washington, Idaho, Oregon and Utah, they can seek care from PHCS Healthy Directions or MultiPlan network providers and receive coverage at the same level they would receive if they were in the local Asuris service area.
